Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. in Kraków is seeking an embedded QA automation engineer to develop and maintain test frameworks for devices running QNX and other RTOS. The role focuses on automation of functional, integration, regression and system tests on hardware platforms with CAN bus interfaces.

You will write Python and Bash scripts, work with CANoe/CANalyzer, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to identify testing needs, triage failures, and improve coverage and speed of automated tests.

Qualifications

Experience in embedded QA automation for devices running QNX or RTOS.
Proficiency in Python for automation scripts and test frameworks.
Strong Bash scripting skills for device interaction and log parsing.
Understanding of CAN bus protocols and related tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, PCAN).
Familiarity with CAN message simulation and validation in test environments.
Experience in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) automation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded systems running QNX.
Automate functional, integration, regression and system tests on hardware platforms.
Interface with CAN bus systems for test automation (simulation, diagnostics, validation).
Create Python and Bash scripts to support test automation and CI pipelines.
Collaborate with development and hardware teams to identify testing needs and automation opportunities.
Analyze logs, reproduce failures, and report root causes with detailed bugs.
