Job summary

GlobalLogic in Kraków is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded systems running QNX. You will automate functional, integration, regression, and system‑level tests on hardware‑based platforms, interfacing with CAN bus systems and CI pipelines.

Collaborate with development and hardware teams, analyze logs and failures, and continuously improve test coverage and stability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building or contributing to test automation frameworks.
• Experience with embedded systems and QA automation for hardware platforms.
• Proficiency in Python for developing automation scripts and test frameworks.
• Knowledge of CAN bus protocols and related testing tools.

Responsibilities

Requirements

echnical Skills:
Strong experience in Embedded QA Automation, ideally with QNX or another RTOS.

Proficiency in Python for developing automation scripts and test frameworks.

Good knowledge of Bash scripting to automate device interaction and log parsing.

Familiarity with C++ for understanding embedded applications and adapting automation hooks.

Deep understanding of CAN bus protocols, tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, PCAN), and test automation involving CAN message simulation and validation.

Experience integrating automation in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.

Automation & Testing Experience:

Hands‑on experience building or contributing to test automation frameworks.

Automated execution, result collection, and reporting (XML, JSON, or custom formats).

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated test triggering.

Familiarity with test management and reporting tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, XRay).

Log analysis and failure triage skills (syslogs, CAN logs, debug outputs).
