Job summary

Seargin in Katowice seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain C++ firmware for industrial automation. You will contribute to feature development, debugging, and system design while collaborating with distributed teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.

You will lead code reviews, support CI/CD processes, and mentor peers in embedded development standards within an international, stable firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of professional C++ development.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Practical knowledge of requirements analysis, software design and testing processes.
• Knowledge of network protocols or RTOS (e.g., QNX, VxWorks).
• Fluent English at B2 level or higher for collaboration with international teams.

• Design, develop and maintain embedded firmware components using C++ for industrial automation products.

Requirements

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Electronics or a related field, or equivalent experience
• C++ Experience
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience using C++
• Embedded Experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing and debugging embedded systems firmware
• Software Lifecycle
  • Practical knowledge of requirements analysis, software design, implementation and testing processes
• Embedded Systems
  • Knowledge of network protocols, embedded systems architecture or real-time operating systems such as QNX or VxWorks
• Version Control & CI/CD
  • Practical experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
