Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland SP. Z O.O. in Kraków is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our substation design team.

The role focuses on primary/secondary circuits of HV substations, with at least 20 hours weekly and a hybrid work mode from our Kraków office. You will assist in design, drawings, specs, and collaborate with senior engineers; requires current enrollment in Electrical Engineering, knowledge of P&C, SCADA, and primary substation equipment, plus AutoCAD, Zuken E3, or EPLAN P8;

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering with attention to P&C, SCADA and primary substation equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electrical substation projects.
• Support the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze and solve engineering problems.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.
