Job summary

KK Group in Szczecin is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical control panels for renewable energy applications, supporting transition to mass production and working with teams across Europe and Asia.

You will collaborate with Technical Project Leads, Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders, overseeing BOMs, testing, and quality standards to ensure delivery on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience in designing electrical panels and control systems.
• Knowledge of IEC/EN standards (IEC 61439, 60204) and UL 508A.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control panels within customer projects from concept to production.
• Review and validate technical specifications and project scope with stakeholders.
• Ensure designs meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Create and manage BOMs in ERP systems and support data setup.
• Coordinate with production and NPI for smooth transition to mass production.
• Plan and execute routine and type tests; document results and reporting.

Do you want to contribute to the development of solutions powering the future of renewable energy? Join our Control Panel Department and work on innovative projects for wind turbines and green energy systems alongside a global team of experts.

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of global projects involving teams in Poland, Denmark, and India. You will design and develop electrical control panels for renewable energy applications and support their transition into mass production.

You’ll collaborate closely with Technical Project Leads, Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders across functions such as sourcing, production, NPI, and logistics—contributing across the full project lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control panels within customer projects from concept to production
• Ensure technical requirements and changes are aligned with the customer (via Technical Project Lead)
• Review and validate technical specifications and project scope before project initiation
• Ensure designs comply with internal standards, electrical regulations, and customer requirements
• Create and manage BOMs (ERP systems) and support configuration management
• Participate in BOM reviews and master data setup
• Support prototype builds and ensure alignment between design and functionality
• Collaborate with production/NPI teams to secure a smooth transition to serial/mass production
• Define and execute routine and type tests, including documentation and reporting
• Participate in FAI and (optionally) external acceptance tests

Your profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in design and development of electrical panels/control systems
• Knowledge of IEC/EN (e.g. IEC 61439, 60204) and UL standards (UL 508A)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Polish is required
• Understanding of EMC requirements nice to have
• Experience with D-FMEA tools nice to have
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Good planning and organisational abilities
• Self-driven and able to work independently
• Willingness to travel when required
