Air Liquide E&C One Europe is seeking a Control System & Cybersecurity Specialist to lead hardware engineering and cyber security across the project lifecycle, based in Kraków, Poland. You will ensure robust architectures aligned with group standards, applying Secure by Design principles.
The role covers design, procurement support, FAT/SAT, and collaboration with vendors and clients in an international setting. Hybrid work with 3 days in the office weekly is offered.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? We're looking for a Control System & Cybersecurity Specialist. Within the Control System & Cybersecurity department of Air Liquide E&C One Europe, you will act as a technical expert and reference point for control systems hardware engineering and industrial cybersecurity. You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle—from bidding and FEED phases to execution and commissioning. Your role is to ensure that deployed architectures are robust, optimized, and strictly aligned with Group standards by incorporating a Secure by Design approach. The role in based in Kraków, Poland.
Definition of the unit's control strategy in accordance with the input data (contract, process, environment, etc.), including the Safety SIL segregation (BPCS/SIS/ESD) Participation in the definition of BPCS / SIS Architecture system and package monitoring Marchelling Architecture / PLC MODIN Architecture Remote I/O Panel (RIOP) Architecture Cybersecurity Requirements Participation in the System Engineering Design (Hard & Soft) HAZOP I/O List I/O Assignment Plant Interfaces Layout Drawing of system component Control Room & Technical Room Layout Supervision Screens definition HMI Control definition Installation rules Participation in the system Procurement phase Technical Requisition Package BID Clarification phase up to Purchase order Ensure compliance with the contract (scope) Compliance with specifications (if applicable) Participation in VENDOR PACKAGES clarifications (Machines, etc.) and validation Post Order documentation Participation in the Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT, SAT) for hardware and software for BPCS and SIS systems; Coordination of the Package Units, interfaces to other discipline, client and vendors
Control BPCS/SIS Architecture I/O List & I/O Assignment, including instrumentation & electrical signals Control room & Technical Room Layout Validation of exchange tables between Main control system and third Part Validation of detail drawings systems cabinets and Servers & Networks Cabinets. Functional Analysis/ Logic Diagram Interpretation FAT (Factory Acceptance Test ) system for Hardware, Software & Cybersecurity Parts. Functional Analysis / Vendor doc update after FAT/SAT
At least 10 years of experience in a similar role in the oil & gas industry Knowledge of the following tools: VISIO, Autocad, Smartplant Instrumentation (SPI), office and Google sui Yokogawa BPCS/SIS Architecture ( Material & Software (Centum VP & Prosafe RS)) Emerson BPCS.SIS Architecture ( Material & Software (DELTA V)) Siemens PLC. SCADA interfaces I/O Cards, Controllers, CPU, etc… Communication Protocols & Architectures (MODBUS, PROFINET, OPC, …) Cybersecurity of Industrial Plants English - very good in speaking and writing
