Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Power Engineer Designer to join our team to design GIS/AIS switchgears and power stations for the energy sector. You will prepare technical documentation and coordinate project activities, ensuring compliance with standards.

The role requires practical knowledge of RUPLAN and strong English or German for documentation and client interaction. Experience with switchgear and HV systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Practical knowledge of RUPLAN and/or Engineering Base.
• Strong knowledge of power engineering documentation and diagrams.
• Proficient English or German for documentation and client collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design GIS/AIS switchgears and medium/high voltage power stations.
• Develop diagrams and execution documents in RUPLAN environment.
• Coordinate projects from bidding to delivering complete documentation.
• Prepare and update project documentation per standards and client needs.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders at all stages.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced person for the position of Power Engineer Designer (f/m/x) to join the team executing projects related to the design of power stations and GIS/AIS switchgears for clients in the energy sector. The person in this position will be responsible for preparing technical documentation, designing medium and high voltage installations, and coordinating project activities. A key element of the role is practical knowledge of the RUPLAN tool.

Your tasks

• Designing GIS/AIS switchgears and medium and high voltage power stations
• Developing diagrams, execution documentation, and technical documentation in the RUPLAN environment
• Coordinating and executing power engineering projects from the bidding stage to delivering complete documentation
• Preparing and updating project documentation in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements
• Collaborating with project teams and project stakeholders at all stages of execution

Requirements

• Higher technical education in a relevant field (electrical engineering, power engineering, or related) or equivalent professional experience
• Practical knowledge of RUPLAN software and/or Engineering Base
• Strong knowledge of power engineering documentation and electrical diagrams
• Good command of English or German enabling work with technical documentation and collaboration with clients

Nice to have

• Experience in designing switchgears, power stations, or medium and high voltage systems
