Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Power Engineer Designer to join our team and contribute to the design of power stations and GIS/AIS switchgears for energy sector clients.

You will prepare technical documentation, design medium and high voltage installations, and coordinate project activities, leveraging RUPLAN to produce accurate diagrams and docs in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in electrical engineering, power engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• Practical knowledge of RUPLAN and/or Engineering Base software
• Strong knowledge of power engineering documentation and electrical diagrams
• Good command of English or German enabling work with technical documentation and client collaboration

Responsibilities

• Design GIS/AIS switchgears and medium/high voltage power stations
• Develop diagrams, execution and technical documentation in RUPLAN environment
• Coordinate and execute power engineering projects from bidding to complete documentation
• Prepare and update project documentation per standards and client requirements
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders at all execution stages

Job description

We are looking for an experienced person for the position of Power Engineer Designer (f/m/x) to join the team executing projects related to the design of power stations and GIS/AIS switchgears for clients in the energy sector. The person in this position will be responsible for preparing technical documentation, designing medium and high voltage installations, and coordinating project activities. A key element of the role is practical knowledge of the RUPLAN tool.

Your tasks

• Designing GIS/AIS switchgears and medium and high voltage power stations
• Developing diagrams, execution documentation, and technical documentation in the RUPLAN environment
• Coordinating and executing power engineering projects from the bidding stage to delivering complete documentation
• Preparing and updating project documentation in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements
• Collaborating with project teams and project stakeholders at all stages of execution

Requirements

• Higher technical education in a relevant field (electrical engineering, power engineering, or related) or equivalent professional experience
• Practical knowledge of RUPLAN software and/or Engineering Base
• Strong knowledge of power engineering documentation and electrical diagrams
• Good command of English or German enabling work with technical documentation and collaboration with clients

Nice to have

• Experience in designing switchgears, power stations, or medium and high voltage systems
