Job summary

Capgemini Polska seeks an experienced EDA/CAD Flow Engineer to define, deploy, and maintain EDA flows for digital, mixed-signal, and verification activities across full SoC lifecycles. You will evaluate Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA, and Mentor Graphics tools, and own the engineering infrastructure including compute clusters, storage, licensing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Linux-based compute environments and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Define, deploy, and maintain EDA flows for digital, mixed-signal, and verification activities (simulation, synthesis, P&R, DFT, signoff).
• Evaluate, benchmark, and qualify new EDA tools before production deployment.
• Design and operate EDA infrastructure environments (compute farms, storage, license servers).
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for tool installation, regression and CI/CD pipelines, monitoring.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for design and verification workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize tool usage and debug tool-related issues.
• Maintain interaction with EDA vendors and define best practices for CAD usage.
• Integrate AI-driven capabilities into engineering workflows.
• Support security, compliance, and reliability requirements (ISO 27001 environments).

Where no two days are the same.## **Your role**Define, deploy, and maintain **EDA tool flows and CAD infrastructure** supporting semiconductor design and verification activities across full SoC lifecycle.Drive the evaluation, benchmarking, and integration of **EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA, Arteris)** and associated flows to maximize productivity, reliability, and scalability.Own the **engineering infrastructure environment** (compute, storage, licensing, CI/CD, automation) required for advanced chip design workloads.Collaborate with design, verification, and physical implementation teams to ensure **efficient, robust, and scalable tool usage**.Explore and integrate **AI/ML-based tooling and workflows** to improve engineering productivity (automation, debugging, optimization, knowledge extraction).Ensure optimal trade-offs between **performance, cost, scalability, and usability** of the CAD environment.Act as a **key technical interface** between internal engineering teams, management, and EDA vendors.Provide regular reporting on **tool performance, usage, and roadmap alignment**.## **Your tasks*** Define, deploy, and maintain **EDA flows** for digital, mixed-signal, and verification activities (simulation, synthesis, P&R, DFT, signoff).* Evaluate, benchmark, and qualify **new EDA tools, releases, and methodologies** before production deployment.* Design and operate **EDA infrastructure environments**, including: Compute farms (Linux-based clusters for simulation and regression), Storage systems (NFS, distributed storage, backup/DR), License servers (FlexLM/Flexera).* Develop and maintain **automation frameworks** for: tool installation and configuration, regression and CI/CD pipelines, resource provisioning and monitoring* Implement and manage **CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)** for design and verification workflows.* Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize tool usage and flows, debug tool-related issues, improve turnaround time and efficiency.* Maintain strong interaction with **EDA vendors** (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens).* Define and enforce **best practices and standards** for CAD usage and tool flows.* Integrate **AI-driven capabilities** into engineering workflows.* Support security, compliance, and reliability requirements (e.g., ISO 27001 environments).## **Your profile****EDA / CAD Flow Expertise*** Solid experience with complete EDA flows: simulation, synthesis, place & route, verification, and DFT.* Hands-on knowledge of Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens EDA (Mentor Graphics) tools.* Experience in tool validation, qualification, deployment, and support.* Strong understanding of EDA licensing systems (FlexLM/Flexera).* Experience with tool version control, release management, and regression testing.**Infrastructure & Automation*** Expertise in Linux-based compute environments for EDA workloads.* Experience with NFS and distributed/parallel storage systems.* Knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.**Scripting & Development*** Proficient in Python, Perl, Shell, and TCL.* Strong automation mindset and experience with infrastructure-as-code practices.**Education*** Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.**Required Experience*** 5+ years of experience in CAD, EDA, or semiconductor infrastructure.* Proven track record in EDA tool deployment and flow ownership.* Strong exposure to semiconductor design and development environments.## **What You'll love about working here*** **Well-being culture:**medical care with Medicover, private life insurance, and sports card.
