Job summary

SafetyHeads is a software house specializing in mobile and backend systems with strong IoT and industrial platform experience. The role focuses on end-to-end testing of a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) using real hardware to optimize residential energy use.

The tester will validate data flow across devices, backend services, and integrations, and work closely with developers and other testers. Onsite for the first 3 months, then hybrid with up to 3 days remote; start ASAP for a long-term

Qualifications

Job description

The project focuses on testing a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) used to optimize energy consumption in residential environments.

The system integrates multiple physical devices including heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, energy meters and other energy-related components. It aggregates data from these devices and coordinates their behavior to optimize energy usage within a household.

The role is focused on end-to-end testing of the system, including validation of data flow between devices, backend services and integrations. Testing activities are performed on real hardware and require understanding how different components interact within the system.
