Job summary

Randstad Polska Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to design, develop, and optimize ERP extensions using AL, VS Code, and modern DevOps practices.

You will build integrations via APIs and web services, maintain documentation, and participate in ERP migration and upgrade projects, collaborating with functional consultants and vendors to deliver reliable solutions. The role offers a hybrid work model in Warsaw, with a dedicated budget for training and growth

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV Developer.
• Proficiency in AL programming and Visual Studio Code (C/AL is a plus for legacy migrations).
• Proven track record of building/publishing Business Central extensions and participating in ERP implementations or upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL and VS Code.
• Develop and manage integrations between Business Central and external apps via APIs, REST/SOAP, and Azure services.
• Translate requirements into technical specs and create clean technical documentation.
• Write automated tests, perform code reviews, troubleshoot bugs, and ensure system stability.

What will your tasks involve?

Development & Customization: Designing, building, and maintaining extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using the AL language and Visual Studio Code.

System Integration: Developing and managing integrations between Business Central and external applications utilizing APIs, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Azure services.

Technical Design & Documentation: Translating functional requirements into technical specifications and creating clean, comprehensive technical documentation for your code.

Testing & Debugging: Writing automated tests, conducting peer code reviews, troubleshooting bugs, and resolving complex technical issues to ensure high system stability.

Deployment & Optimization: Managing source code via version control (Git), setting up and monitoring CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and proactively optimizing system performance.

Collaboration: Working closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and vendors to map out technical solutions and ensure seamless delivery of ERP enhancements.

What we expect from you?

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV Developer.

Strong proficiency in AL programming and Visual Studio Code (knowledge of C/AL is a plus for legacy system migrations).

Proven track record of building and publishing Business Central extensions and participating in ERP implementations or upgrade projects.

Practical experience with code versioning tools (Git) and application lifecycle management (Azure DevOps).

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative, creative team spirit.

Openness to occasional business travel.

You Will Earn Extra Points If You Have (Nice to Have)

Microsoft certifications validating Business Central Developer expertise (e.g., MB-820: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer).

Experience with the broader Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).

A basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and standard business workflows.

Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and database performance troubleshooting.
