Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the ICT Disaster Recovery workstream across the Data Centre function
• Developing, reviewing, and maintaining Disaster Recovery plans for critical services
• Managing end‑to‑end DR testing programmes including planning, execution, reporting, remediation, and follow‑up
• Driving governance, accountability, and continuous improvement across recovery activities
• Monitoring and reporting recovery readiness through dashboards, KPIs, action tracking, and executive reporting
• Acting as the key point of contact between ICT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Management, and technical stakeholders
• Ensuring audit readiness through effective management of documentation, evidence, governance artefacts, and reporting
• Supporting service resilience initiatives within a regulated and highly visible operational environment

Disaster Recovery Governance Lead | Business Continuity & Resilience

Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid | 70% Onsite) - Long-Term Contract - International Organisation

We're seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery Governance Lead to play a key role in strengthening and coordinating ICT Disaster Recovery across a complex international technology landscape. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of a mission‑critical Data Centre environment, driving preparedness, governance, testing, and recovery readiness across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.

The Opportunity

As the Disaster Recovery Governance Lead, you will be the driving force behind the organisation's ICT Disaster Recovery programme, ensuring services remain resilient, recovery plans remain effective, and stakeholders remain aligned.

Working closely with the Data Centre Team Lead, you'll coordinate disaster recovery activities across infrastructure, applications, security, operations, vendors, and business continuity teams while providing visibility of overall recovery readiness.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, Service Governance, Resilience, Business Continuity, or related environments
• 3+ years' experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Resilience Coordination, or Recovery Governance
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional technical teams and drive actions through to completion
• Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery governance, operational readiness, and service recovery principles
• Experience managing DR planning, testing cycles, reporting, remediation tracking, and stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of backup, restore, replication, failover/failback, and recovery processes
• Familiarity with Incident, Change, and Problem Management practices
• Strong communication, facilitation, escalation management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in regulated, critical, or audit‑sensitive environments is highly desirable

Qualifications & Certifications

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)

ITIL 4 Foundation (or equivalent)

Plus at least one of the following:

• CBCI
• DRI ABCP/CBCP
• Equivalent internationally recognised Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery certification

English language proficiency (minimum B2)
