Job summary

Qualifications

• Nine years of progressive accounting experience.
• At least five years leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
• Familiarity with Polish accounting standards is advantageous.
• Proven track record of consolidations across multinational entities.
• Experience implementing accounting systems and process improvements.
• Prior experience in high-growth e-commerce or marketplace businesses is desirable.

This is an international role spanning multiple legal entities and markets, working closely with the Group CFO to shape the finance function as the business continues to scale. What you'll be doing

• Lead and scale the accounting function across multiple international entities.
• Build scalable statutory close and reporting processes to support a high-growth e-commerce environment.
• Design and implement robust internal controls and processes across in-country close and reporting requirements.
• Own relationships with external and Group auditors, leading preparation for all financial audits.
• Build internal expertise in IFRS translation and consolidation, while overseeing sub-ledger integrity within NetSuite.
• Support the global NetSuite rollout and drive continuous improvements across finance processes, controls, and systems.
• Mentor and develop an international accounting team.
• Partner closely with the Group CFO and senior leadership on strategic decision-making, financial analysis, and reporting.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of nine years' progressive accounting experience, including at least five years leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP (HGB); familiarity with Polish accounting standards would be advantageous.
• A proven track record of managing financial consolidations across multinational entities and implementing accounting systems and process improvements.
• Previous experience within a high-growth e-commerce or marketplace business is highly desirable.
