Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking a delivery leader to manage a large portfolio of projects across multiple clients. You will drive governance, ensure delivery quality, and align teams with business goals while collaborating with account teams and regional leadership.

The role requires extensive senior delivery experience, hands-on engineering credibility, and fluency in English. Hybrid work within Poland and opportunities for international travel are available.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT delivery, engineering, or consulting environments.
• 5+ years in senior delivery leadership, managing portfolios and P&L.
• Proven track record in large, multi-stream engagements with global clients.
• Experience across delivery models: T&M, managed capacity, managed services, fixed price.
• Active involvement in presales, solution shaping, and commercial negotiation.
• Hands-on engineering background is essential; strong technology credibility.
• Strong grasp of modern software engineering, cloud platforms, and AI-native delivery.
• Fluent English (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clear picture of delivery health across Poland's portfolio, identifying risks early and creating conditions for well-informed decisions
• Set governance that serves the work: clear ownership, fast decisions, and outcomes that are visible and measurable
• Create the conditions for consistently high delivery quality and client satisfaction across all engagement models
• Ensure delivery teams operate with a genuine understanding of the business context behind their engagements and the goals that matter to each client
• Stay close to key accounts directly, stepping in where your presence adds most value, whether in a senior client conversation, a difficult escalation, or a pivotal delivery moment
• Develop a domain-informed layer of delivery leadership across Poland, connecting industry expertise with delivery execution to serve clients with depth and consistency
• Keep Poland at the forefront of AI-native delivery: scale proven AI-first practices across the portfolio and continuously raise the bar on what AI-led engineering delivers for our clients
• Work with account and engagement leadership to develop accounts toward higher-maturity engagement models where it creates genuine value for both the client and EPAM
• Represent EPAM credibly in senior client-facing conversations and take ownership of strategic client visits, aligning around client needs and EPAM's capabilities
• Set the standard for client-centricity, empowering Delivery Managers to operate as true partners to their clients
• Collaborate actively in presales and ensure smooth transitions from pursuit into delivery
• Work closely with Sales, Account Management, and CEE Engagement leadership across the full engagement lifecycle, identifying delivery-led growth opportunities
• Contribute to regional and global delivery leadership forums, influencing standards and sharing Poland's delivery expertise
• Lead, mentor, and develop a strong community of Delivery Managers and Program Managers across Poland
• Invest in career growth, active coaching, and a high-performance culture that balances client demands with team motivation
• Contribute to hiring and talent strategy, attracting and integrating strong delivery talent

Requirements

• 15+ years in IT delivery, engineering, or consulting environments
• 5+ years in senior delivery leadership, managing portfolios, leading teams of managers, and working closely with P&L
• Proven track record across large, complex, multi-stream engagements with global clients. Comfortable in a matrixed, multi-stakeholder environment. Makes an impact without needing to own everything. Earns trust through consistency, follow-through, and fronting delivery personally where it matters
• Experience across multiple delivery models: T&M, managed capacity, managed services, fixed price
• Active involvement in presales, solution shaping, and commercial negotiation
• Prior hands-on engineering background is essential. This role requires genuine technology credibility
