Job summary

Volvo Group Digital Technology & Operations (DTO) seeks a Senior Digital Product Owner with SAP expertise to lead the Order Management product within the ODC. You will bridge backlog management with SAP solution leadership, collaborating with business stakeholders and SAP consultants to shape the product roadmap.

You will ensure the product aligns with architecture, security, and digital strategy, while fostering transparent communication and mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (design, configuration, integration).
• Experience delivering O2C solutions (Sales Order, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Returns).
• Experience leading a team of SAP professionals (architect/technical lead).
• Solid understanding of SAP Architecture, Integrations, Enhancements, SAP Fiori and master data.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital product delivery in the ODC Order Management team.
• Balance backlog management with SAP solution leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ensure backlog is well-structured, transparent, and compliant with architecture and security requirements.

Join us at Digital Technology and Operations (DTO) to support the largest SAP transformation at Volvo Construction Equipment!

We are an international team of professionals maintaining and implementing new sales capabilities on the S/4 HANA platform. We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Owner with hands-on SAP knowledge to lead the digital product delivery in the ODC Order Management team. This position seamlessly blends backlog management with SAP solution leadership, collaborating with business stakeholders and SAP consultants. It works in close partnership with the Digital Product Manager to shape the product roadmap and drive business priorities. The Senior Digital Product Owner ensures the backlog at solution level is well structured, transparent, and understood. It secures that the digital product is developed and maintained in compliance with given architecture, security requirements, and digital product strategy. It fosters open, transparent communication with team members and stakeholders while cultivating trust and promoting a collaborative, supportive environment. It tactfully manages scope by saying no when needed, while constructively addressing challenges, raising risk awareness, and promoting effective planning. It uses SAP expertise to guide other consultants in finding technical solutions that work. It effectively collaborates with SAP architects to answer important design questions.

Who are you?

• 7+ years hands on expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution area (design, configuration, integration with other components; on ECC and/or S/4 Hana)
• You acted on implementation projects successfully delivering solutions for Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes (Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Returns)
• You have proven experience in leading a team of SAP professionals to successful outcomes in a role like architect, functional lead or technical lead.
• You demonstrate a solid understanding of SAP Architecture, Integrations patterns, Enhancement concepts, SAP Fiori and SAP master data.
• You can effectively read and debug ABAP code.
