Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Product Owner or similar delivering digital products.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, backlog management.
• Ability to translate business needs into user stories and requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration in international teams.
• German (B2+) and fluent English; IoT/home automation experience is a plus.

As a Product Owner Digital Services & Home Automation, you will play a key role in shaping and driving innovative digital solutions within the residential home automation ecosystem. Working closely with global product, engineering, UX, and business teams, you will define and manage digital products and services that enhance customer experiences and support the broader digital strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for digital services and applications throughout the product lifecycle.


• Act as Agile Product Owner for digital solutions including mobile applications, integrations, licensing models, user journeys, digital marketplaces, partner portals, and web platforms.


• Translate long-term business strategies and product visions into short-term development roadmaps, user stories, and technical requirements.


• Collaborate closely with R&D, IT, UX/UI, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation, testing, and launch of digital solutions.


• Analyze customer needs, pain points, and market opportunities to identify features and enhancements that deliver measurable value.


• Conduct competitor and market analyses to evaluate industry trends and strengthen product positioning.


• Ensure continuous delivery of high-quality solutions through Agile development practices, MVPs, and sprint-based releases.


• Work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to align priorities and drive product success.


• Support product launches and educate internal sales, marketing, and product organizations on digital service offerings and value propositions.


• Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role delivering digital products and services.


• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, backlog management, and product lifecycle management.


• Proven ability to translate business needs into user stories, requirements, and successful digital solutions.


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills in international and cross-functional environments.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer-centric product development.


• Professional proficiency in German (B2+) and fluent English; experience in IoT, connected devices, or smart home solutions is a strong advantage.
