Job summary

SoftServe in Poland is seeking an experienced infrastructure lead to manage the ArcGIS Enterprise platform hosted on AWS, with Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and disaster recovery. Qualifications

• Hands-on ArcGIS Enterprise production operations including deployment, config, upgrades and migrations.
• Strong AWS, Kubernetes, networking, storage and performance tuning knowledge.
• Proficient in IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and modernization of AWS infrastructure for ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Own platform reliability, performance, availability and incident management.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams and client stakeholders to keep platform scalable, secure and maintainable.
• Deploy, configure, upgrade and tune ArcGIS Enterprise environments including Kubernetes deployments.
• Design infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines with Terraform or CloudFormation to automate repetitive work.
• Perform root cause analysis on production issues across app, infra and integration layers.
• Implement backup, recovery, HA and disaster-recovery procedures per security/governance requirements.
• Define technical standards and maintain operational documentation.

About The Role

In this role, you will lead the infrastructure behind a large-scale ArcGIS Enterprise platform running on AWS from Kubernetes-based deployments to CI/CD, observability, and disaster recovery. You will set the technical standards the team builds on, work directly with architects and client stakeholders, and own how reliably the platform runs in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, modernization, and day-to-day operation of AWS infrastructure supporting an ArcGIS Enterprise platform
• Own platform reliability, performance, and availability, driving improvements through automation, monitoring, and incident management
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to keep the platform scalable, secure, and maintainable
• Deploy, configure, upgrade, and tune ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including deployments on Kubernetes, across development, testing, and production
• Design Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines with Terraform or CloudFormation, replacing repetitive operational work with automation
• Perform root cause analysis on production issues across application, infrastructure, and integration layers
• Implement backup, recovery, high-availability, and disaster-recovery procedures in line with security and governance requirements
• Define technical standards, and maintain operational documentation

Requirements

• Hands-on experience operating ArcGIS Enterprise in production - deployment, configuration, administration, upgrades, patching, and migrations, including on Kubernetes
• Practical knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise security, networking, storage, integrations, and performance tuning
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure operations, including migration and modernization projects
• Solid background in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and Kubernetes environments, using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tooling, with confident production troubleshooting
• Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and working with client stakeholders
