ING Hubs Poland is hiring! The expected salary for this position: 9600 - 16000 PLN gross. The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration in a production environment.
• Practical knowledge of SQL Server 2016/2019/2022, including backup/restore, permissions, maintenance, monitoring and performance tuning.
• Experience with high availability mechanisms, especially Always On Availability Groups and WSFC.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and core infrastructure services: AD, DNS, GPO, certificates, and service accounts.
• PowerShell skills and experience in automating administrative tasks.
• Ability to diagnose application and database-related issues, including log analysis, connectivity problems, service errors, and performance issues.
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools such as SCOM, Elastic Stack, Kibana, Grafana, Open Telemetry, Prometheus, or similar.
• Experience in handling incidents, problems, and changes in a production environment.
• Knowledge of security best practices for SQL Server and Windows Server.
• Independence, attention to detail, accountability, and good technical communication skills.
• Speak English at B2+ level and are open to shift work and on-call duties.

Additional Points

• Experience with Stonebranch UAC.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and data orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of Active Directory/GPO/DNS/DHCP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft HPC Pack.
• Experience with SCOM.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain MS SQL Server and Windows server environments.
• Automate tasks and manage CI/CD pipelines using PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps, and Stonebranch UAC.
• Ensure security compliance, manage access rights, and perform patching and audits.
• Handle tickets (L1/L2 triage), communicate in English, and manage SLA/SLO.
• Plan and implement changes (CHG), including in production environments.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks.
