LyondellBasell Industries in Poznań invites you to join as a Software DevOps Engineer. You will deliver scalable software engineering and DevOps capabilities across data-driven projects, collaborating with software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and process engineers.

The role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with remote work-from-home days and in-person collaboration, and requires strong Python/Java, Kubernetes and CI/CD experience, plus Linux/Git.

Qualifications

BS/MS/PhD in CS/Software/Engineering or related technical field
Hands-on software development experience with a degree
Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD
Experience with Linux/Unix, Git and GitHub Actions
Strong Python and/or Java programming and scripting skills

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy software engineering and DevOps solutions leveraging best practices
Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and business SMEs on data-driven projects
Ensure adherence to architecture, security, testing, and coding standards
Design and develop platforms/frameworks to enable data, BI, and information delivery
Foster collaboration and transfer knowledge across the DT organization
