Job summary

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in Warsaw seeks a DevOps Engineer to develop and operate strategic applications across the globe. The role emphasizes ownership, automation, and continuous improvement within an agile team.

In this position, you will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment and operations with Python, and ensure reliability of production environments. English communication is essential in a multinational setup with teams in France, India, and Poland.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Java (17+).
• Experience with Python and automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD tooling.
• Good knowledge of Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud would be a plus.
• Experience in monitoring, alerting, and production support activities.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proactive approach to improving existing solutions and challenging legacy processes.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Tech Stack: Java 17+, Python, SQL, Oracle/PostgreSQL, GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD, Linux, PowerShell, Monitoring & Observability, Agile/Scrum.
