Job summary

ACT DIGITAL POLSKA Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw is seeking a DevEx Engineer to own and optimize CI/CD pipelines and tooling. You will manage GitHub Actions, monorepo builds, and release processes while driving improvements across engineering teams.

The role requires 3–5+ years of DevEx or related experience, strong knowledge of CI/CD platforms, and hands-on infrastructure automation with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible or Pulumi. Excellent communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5+ years of experience as a DevEx Engineer.
• Proven experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong background in SDLC practices and developer productivity tooling.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible or Pulumi).
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring (Datadog, Prometheus).
• Experience managing or improving monorepo build systems.
• Strong ability to measure developer productivity gaps and define KPIs.
• Experience driving adoption of change in engineering organizations.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate CI/CD systems, GitHub Actions runners and caching.
• Maintain pipelines' stability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Build and maintain monorepo tooling and infrastructure.
• Ensure CI/CD observability with metrics to Datadog/Slack.
• Analyze pipelines for inefficiencies and optimize accordingly.
• Define benchmarks and KPIs for builds and flakiness.
• Measure productivity gaps and report improvements.
• Maintain SDLC documentation, templates, and starter kits.
• Automate onboarding processes and GitHub governance.
• Implement SDLC guardrails and security scans.
• Standardize release processes and tooling for packaging.
• Drive adoption of DevEx improvements with engineering teams.
• Gather feedback to validate impact on build times and satisfaction.
