Job summary

BELVEDERE is seeking a Developer to join on-site in Gdynia/Krakow for a 6-month contract to lead Azure data transformation initiatives using PySpark, Azure Fabric, and Azure SQL/PostgreSQL. You will assess applications, design transformation strategies with architects, plan backlogs, and guide teams through planning to UAT, contributing to strategic data model implementations.

You will work closely with architects and development teams to migrate and modernise data platforms using Azure

They are seeking an experienced Developer to join their team in Gdynia on a contract basis. Position Overview

As a Developer, you'll play a central role in assessing current applications and determining transformation strategies. Working closely with application architects, you'll evaluate application complexity, plan development backlogs, and guide development teams through the transition from planning to transformation. Your work will directly impact the successful migration of data platforms, supporting customer UAT activities and ensuring smooth delivery of strategic data model implementations.

Requirements

• 8-10 years' experience in software development
• Strong Python programming skills
• Proven experience with PySpark services
• DevOps experience within Azure environments
• Knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Experience with Azure SQL or PostgreSQL databases
• Understanding of OneLake Delta DB
• Familiarity with DBOR data flows and processing schemas
• Experience working with strategic data models (SDM)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects and development teams
• Strong analytical skills for assessing application complexity

Desirable skills include experience with CosmosDB, NoSQL variants, Postgres variants, and Data Flow Gen 2.
