Job summary

BELVEDERE in Poland is seeking a Developer to lead Azure Data Transformation on a 6-month on-site contract based in Gdynia and Kraków. You will assess current applications, define transformation strategies, and collaborate with architects to migrate data platforms using Azure Fabric and PySpark.

The role requires 8–10 years of software development, strong Python, PySpark, and DevOps in Azure, plus AKS and Azure SQL or PostgreSQL experience.

Qualifications

8-10 years of software development experience.
Strong Python programming skills.
Proven PySpark experience.
DevOps experience in Azure environments.
Knowledge of AKS.
Experience with Azure SQL or PostgreSQL.
Understanding of OneLake Delta DB.
Familiarity with DBOR data flows and schemas.
Experience working with SDM (strategic data models).
Ability to collaborate with architects and development teams.
Strong analytical skills to assess application complexity.

Responsibilities

Assess current applications and collaborate with architects on transformation strategy.
Determine application complexity and estimate effort.
Design technical solutions based on requirements and target architecture.
Plan and prioritise development backlogs for transformation activities.
Guide development teams through application transition phases.
Support customer UAT activities and testing processes.
Work with DBOR data flows and processing schemas.
Implement solutions using Azure/Fabric and PySpark services.
