Wärtsilä in Gdynia, Poland invites a Design Engineer to join the Integrated Systems & Solutions team. You will contribute to 3D modeling of mechanical products and develop 2D drawings while supporting sales teams on new build projects in marine propulsion and decarbonisation initiatives.

We are now looking for a Design Engineer to join our competent team. The preferred location for this position is Gdynia, Poland.
As a Design Engineer, you will collaborate with sales teams to support new build projects and conduct in-depth studies on alternative fuel systems, while staying up to date with the latest trends in ship propulsion solutions, marine electrification and sustainability.
You will contribute to the development of 3D models for mechanical products and systems that align with Wärtsilä’s strategic goals for reducing emissions. Additionally, you will assist in creating 2D technical drawings and system diagrams that enhance communication among stakeholders and help visualize Wärtsilä’s decarbonization initiatives.
The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the Integrated Systems & Solutions team with diverse expertise, and this position reports to Team Leader 3D Modeling (Engineering) within Integrated Systems and Solutions.
