Job summary

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our client as the right hand to the Accounting Manager in an international manufacturing company. The role focuses on monthly and annual close under IFRS, group reporting, and support for statutory and management reports.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in accounting/audit, strong MS Excel skills, and ERP experience (QAD or SAP advantageous). Fluent English and proactive process improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or accounting.
• At least 5 years of accounting or auditing experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills and ERP experience.
• Knowledge of internal control rules and audit processes.
• Fluent English in business.
• Experience in international manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Play a significant role in monthly and annual closing and group reporting under IFRS.
• Support in the preparation of statutory and management reports (BS, P&L, CF, notes).
• Take responsibility for fixed assets records, including admissions, liquidations and reporting.
• Support tax processes in CIT, VAT, withholding tax and reporting to Central Statistical Office.
• Take part in internal and external audits: from documentation to improvements.
• Engage in hedge accounting: hedging instrument valuation/reporting.
• Analyze deviations related to short-term liquidity and derive actionable insights.
• Develop SOX Compliance, participate in control tests and documentation.
• Ensure quality of books via reconciliations and balance checks.
• Collaborate with HQ, auditors and foreign teams to improve information flow.
