Job summary

Platige is seeking a Production Planning Lead in Warsaw to manage a team of production specialists. You will align project needs with the team’s skills and availability, ensure smooth operations, and partner with artists, leads, supervisors and producers.

You will plan allocations, forecast staffing, monitor budgets, and contribute to recruitment while scaling the team for changing project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in animation production, VFX, game development, or similar.
• Able to plan a specialist team's work, manage budgets and understand production dependencies.
• Strong communication and people skills, with ability to handle difficult conversations.
• Proficient with schedules, spreadsheets, and budget data.

Responsibilities

• Plan team allocations across projects in collaboration with supervisors and leads.
• Analyse project requirements, create schedules and roadmaps, and forecast staffing needs.
• Monitor team utilisation and budget spend, minimise downtime, identify risks, and propose solutions.
• Support the team day to day: setting clear expectations, providing feedback, resolving problems and conflicts, and supporting motivation and development.
• Contribute to recruitment and plan the team’s size and skill mix, scaling it responsively as project needs change.
• Improve workflows and working standards, and coordinate hardware, software licences, and tool requirements with IT.
