Job description

Job Title:
Producer
Requisition ID:
R028019
Job Description:

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Producer to support our Content Design and Environment Art teams in the development of a new IP.

Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly-skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining!

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Producer to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale game environments, content-building pipelines, and technical world performance.

This role requires exceptional cross-disciplinary communication skills, deep familiarity with world-building and content production pipelines, and the ability to align design and artistic visions with project milestones and studio goals.

As a member of the production department, you’ll focus on enabling our Content team to do their best work; building clear schedules, tracking asset iteration from grey-box to final polish, and ensuring our content meets high-quality standards while delivering on exploration and narrative intent.

As a member of the project, you’ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better; with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.

You’ll help us by...

  • Partnering with the Content Director, Art Leads, and Production leadership to define, plan, and manage the Content Design and Environment roadmap.
  • Translating the game’s environmental and spatial vision into structured deliverables and milestones for level designers and environment artists.
  • Coordinating with cross-disciplinary leads (Tech Design, Lighting, Tech Art, VFX, and QA) to ensure technical, visual, and performance alignment.
  • Overseeing daily and long-term scheduling, tracking asset iteration (white-box, layout, material passes, and final polish), and ensuring quality standards are achieved within established timelines.
  • Managing workload distribution and resource planning across environment artists, level designers, and technical art support.
  • Facilitating review cycles and playtest feedback loops focused on world navigation, environmental storytelling, and technical streaming performance.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks related to world scope, technical memory budgets, asset streaming dependencies, or world-scale complexity.
  • Supporting clear communication between internal world teams and any outsourced partners supporting environment art or modular asset creation.
  • Encouraging a positive, collaborative, and inclusive creative culture that values immersive world design, visual excellence, and technical stability.
  • Providing regular updates on world progress, biome development milestones, and technical or scheduling risks to project leadership.

You’re awesome because you have…

  • Proven experience in production or project management in games, specifically supporting World Design, Level Design, or Environment Art teams.
  • A strong understanding of world-building pipelines, from initial layout and "white-boxing" to modular asset integration, lighting, and technical optimization.
  • Experience supporting art and engineering teams in a AAA development environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge communication between highly creative environment artists and technical software/engine engineers.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience creating, tracking, and updating detailed production schedules.
  • Experience in Jira, Confluence, ShotGrid, or equivalent project management tools.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for empowering developers and solving complex spatial and technical challenges.
  • A keen eye for world composition, player flow, and immersive environmental details.
  • The ability to provide production structure while preserving the iterative nature of world and level design.

Bonus points for…

  • Experience coordinating with external art vendors or outsourcing partners supporting large-scale environment asset production.
  • Familiarity with modern game engines and world-building tools (Procedural tools, Photogrammetry pipelines, or technical art workflows).
  • Experience supporting early-stage world prototyping or defining compelling "World Pillars" for a new AAA franchise.
  • A personal passion for open-world RPGs, immersive sims, and environmental storytelling.
  • Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles.
