Platige Image is seeking a Department Producer to orchestrate production planning and lead a team of artists. You will align project requirements with the team’s capabilities, manage allocations and schedules, and support recruitment decisions and workflow improvements.

The role emphasizes balancing project needs with staff development, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of creative work.

As a Department Producer , you’ll combine production planning with people management, ensuring that project requirements are aligned with the team’s capabilities.

What will you do?

• Experience in production or production coordination within animation, VFX, game development or a similar creative and technical environment.
• Experience in team planning, people management and budget management.
• The ability to solve problems independently, make informed decisions and balance competing priorities.
• A leadership style that combines empathy with assertiveness and accountability.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a focus on following through on commitments.
• An interest in technology and artists’ workflows.
• Nice to have: familiarity with production tools such as ShotGrid or Flow, and experience working with freelancers.
