Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Demand Planner to support Global Supply/Operations Planning, balancing supply and demand through analysis and forecasting. You will guide process improvements, act as a knowledge expert for the team, and collaborate with regional teams and suppliers to ensure high service levels and optimal inventory.

You will develop statistical forecasts, monitor performance, and drive corrective actions to reduce volatility.

Qualifications

University degree or technical background in logistics, manufacturing, systems, or business preferred.
5+ years’ experience in supply/operations roles within FMCG or international environments.
Strong planning experience across supply, demand and distribution.
Fluent in English and data-driven decision making.
Advanced MS Office; SQL, data warehouses, and system implementations a plus.

Responsibilities

Generate demand forecast and develop baseline forecasts using historical data.
Model seasonality, trends, pricing, and external factors.
Produce forecasts across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.
Lead cross-functional consensus with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply.
Capture and align commercial assumptions; monitor forecast performance and bias.
Perform root-cause analysis on forecast deviations and implement corrective actions.
