Job summary

Brown-Forman in Warsaw is seeking a Demand and Inventory Planner to forecast customer demand for European markets and align supply chain operations with market needs.

The role is hybrid: 4 days in the Warsaw office with optional remote Fridays, engaging with sales, marketing, and the Global Planning team to ensure optimal product availability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management or demand planning.
  • Experience in a changing environment.
  • Ability to make decisions independently based on logical assumptions and factual information.
  • Fluent in ENGLISH, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Track inventory levels and update records regularly.
  • Plan, coordinate, and post-production orders at the third-party warehouse.
  • Maintain SAP database for local SKUs.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand while minimizing costs.
  • Coordinate with the Global Planning team to manage stock levels.

We are looking for Demand and Invetory Planner located in Warsaw for future roles.
Meaningful Work From Day One

This role is responsible for accurately forecasting customers' demand for a specific set of European markets, ensuring our supply chain operations are aligned with market needs. This includes analyzing sales data, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, and developing sophisticated forecasting models to predict future demand. You will be the key link between market trends and supply chain execution, acting as a crucial liaison between sales, marketing, and the Global Planning team to ensure efficient inventory management and optimal product availability.

This is an office/hybrid role (4 days a week at Warsaw office with the option to work remotely on Fridays)

What You Can Expect
Inventory Management:
  • Track inventory levels and update records regularly.
  • Plan, coordinate, and post-production orders (repacks, displays, and value-added packs) at the third-party warehouse.
  • Maintain SAP database for local SKUs (repacks and VAPs).
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand while minimizing holding costs.
  • Coordinate with the Global Planning team to manage stock levels effectively.

Maintain SAP database for local SKUs

Maintain logistic data in internal and external data tools and systems

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate effectively with the Global Planning team to align on strategy and best practices.

Build and maintain strong relationships with local commercial teams.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Must Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management or demand planning
  • Experience in successful related work within a changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently based on logical assumptions and factual information
  • Language Proficiency: fluent in ENGLISH, both spoken and written
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior Experience in wine and spirits or FMCG industries
  • Experience working with a supply chain system, ideally SAP
  • Experience in copacking/rework and dry goods planning
