Job summary

A leading premium spirits company is seeking a Demand Planner based in Warsaw, Poland. You will be responsible for demand forecasting, inventory management, and collaboration with global and local teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in demand planning, preferably within the FMCG sector. A hybrid work environment is offered, with competitive benefits.

What You Can Expect

Demand Planning and Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather insights and align demand plans with business objectives.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to identify patterns and trends influencing demand.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Participate in S and OP meetings and contribute to developing integrated sales and operations plans.

Inventory Management:

  • Track inventory levels and update records regularly.
  • Plan, coordinate, and post-production orders (repacks, displays, and value-added packs) at the third-party warehouse.
  • Maintain SAP database for local SKUs (repacks and VAPs).
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand while minimizing holding costs.
  • Coordinate with the Global Planning team to manage stock levels effectively.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate effectively with the Global Planning team to align on strategy and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local commercial teams.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Must Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in demand planning.
  • Experience in successful related work within a changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently based on logical assumptions and factual information.
  • Preferred Experience: Prior experience in wine and spirits or FMCG industries.
  • Experience working with a supply chain system, ideally SAP.
  • Language Proficiency: fluent in ENGLISH, both spoken and written.
