Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Kraków is seeking an Agile Delivery Leader to own epics across multiple squads, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality align with business goals.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Scrum Masters to drive delivery, manage risks, and facilitate ceremonies while supporting capability development within the squads.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading epic-level delivery across multiple squads within Agile frameworks.

• Strong communication and alignment with stakeholders.
• Experience in delivery governance, tracking, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery lifecycle of assigned epics from planning to post-release support.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Squad Leads, and Scrum Masters to define scope and timelines.
• Ensure epics are technically feasible and aligned with architectural and security standards.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and governance reviews (Epic Syncs, Planning, Feature Board Reviews).
• Track delivery progress using Agile metrics and report status in governance forums.
• Manage cross-squad dependencies and risks, escalating as needed.
• Act as primary contact for stakeholders on scope, timing and quality of epics.
• Support onboarding and capability development across squads (skill matrix, T-shaping).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the tribe’s delivery model.

Job description

• Agile Delivery Leadership: Proven experience in leading epic-level delivery across multiple squads within Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
• Cross-Squad Coordination: Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery readiness across squads and tribes.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and alignment skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Governance & Reporting: Experience in delivery tracking, reporting, and participation in forums like Delivery Boards and Demand Reviews.
• Technical Awareness: Understanding of architecture, security, and performance standards in enterprise environments.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to align delivery with business goals and contribute to operating model evolution.

Secondary Skills:

• DevOps & CI/CD Familiarity: Exposure to delivery pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure).
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Financial Services Domain Knowledge: Understanding of STP systems, SWIFT messaging, ISO 15022/20022, and middleware validation.
• Certifications: Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master) or project management credentials (e.g., PMP) are a plus.

Your daily tasks:

• Own the delivery lifecycle of assigned epics, from planning and refinement through execution, deployment, and post-release support.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Squad Leads, and Scrum Masters to define scope, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure epics are technically feasible, compliant with architectural and security standards, and aligned with quarterly goals.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Epic Syncs, Quarterly Planning, and Feature Board Reviews.
• Track delivery progress using Agile metrics (velocity, predictability, quality) and report status in governance forums.
• Manage cross-squad dependencies, risks, and impediments, escalating where necessary.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding epic delivery scope, timing, and quality.
• Support onboarding and capability building across squads, including skill matrix tracking and T-shaping initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the STP Tribe’s delivery model and operating maturity.
