Job summary

EMW, Inc. in Bydgoszcz is seeking an Operations & Exercises DCIS Network Engineer to support a complex multi-domain environment. The role focuses on secure, resilient interconnectivity, incident resolution, and service evolution under the NATO governance framework.

You will lead Tier-3 troubleshooting, design and implement network upgrades, and coordinate with NATO exercise scenarios across sites, while maintaining rigorous documentation and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2+ years post-related experience.
• Alternative: 8+ years extensive, progressive duties in network engineering.
• At least 8 years’ experience in complex network engineering roles.
• Design, implement and support scalable enterprise network infrastructures (BGP, IPv6, OSPF/IS-IS).
• Experience with SD-WAN, QoS, multicast (PIM, IGMP) and VPN/IPsec security.
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible).
• Knowledge of CA Spectrum, HP NAs, and BMC Remedy usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Level 3 support for complex enterprise networks.
• Lead technical resolution of high-impact incidents.
• Analyze recurring issues and implement sustainable actions.
• Identify opportunities for service optimization and changes.
• Contribute to design and implementation of network enhancements.
• Ensure changes are governance-compliant and minimally disruptive.
• Validate network changes across NATO sites and maintain docs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Prepare test plans, technical docs, and SOPs.
• Coordinate routing/switching designs for exercises and operations.
• Perform site surveys, validations, and system acceptance testing.
