Job summary

OnHires is seeking a Head of DC Infrastructure to lead the on-site engineering team responsible for cooling, power, UPS, and generators in a large-scale data center project in Poland. The role focuses on day-to-day reliability of MEP systems and oversight of preventive maintenance and incident response.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in DC facilities/MEP engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role, and strong English for international communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on data center facilities/MEP engineering experience.
• Leadership experience owning a full-scale DC Infrastructure/Operations function.
• English proficiency for international vendor/technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the on-site engineering team for MEP systems.
• Own day-to-day reliability and performance of all MEP systems.
• Develop and maintain SOPs/MOPs/EOPs for cooling and electrical operations.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for MEP outages.
• Manage preventive maintenance and vendor relationships.
