Job summary

DATA4 is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of critical data center infrastructure. The role focuses on service continuity, operational excellence, and compliance with technical and safety requirements, coordinating maintenance, incidents, changes, and vendors.

Based in Poland, the engineer will operate autonomously in day-to-day operations and serve as the interface between internal teams, customers, and service providers, contributing

Qualifications

Degree in electrical, mechanical, or related technical field.
Proven experience in operations, maintenance, or critical facilities.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure continuous operation of critical infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire safety, low current systems).
Monitor infrastructure performance using BMS and monitoring tools.
Own incident management lifecycle from detection to closure; coordinate RCA and preventive actions.
Plan, review, and supervise maintenance schedules and interventions.
Manage technical service providers on-site and monitor SLA/KPIs.
Act as technical point of contact for customers during maintenance and incidents.
