Job summary

Mindbox Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Databricks Analyst to join the client’s team in Kraków.

You will transform complex data into actionable insights, ensuring data quality, traceability, and compliance across enterprise systems in a cloud-based environment. The role offers hybrid work with six days per month in the Krakow office and remote days depending on client arrangements. You will collaborate with technology, control, and audit specialists while developing your skills through training

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Databricks or an equivalent cloud-based analytics platform.
• Strong command of SQL and/or Python for data extraction, transformation, and integration.
• Ability to modify, optimise, and create efficient scripts to meet business needs.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail; deliver reliable, structured datasets for control and assurance.
• Familiarity with PowerBI or ControlRight for visualisation and reporting.
• Excellent English communication skills, able to translate technical results to business language.
• Comfortable using Confluence, Jira for documentation and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Use Databricks (or a similar cloud-based data platform) to access, analyse, and prepare datasets for technology, audit, and control functions.
• Extract, transform, and manipulate data using SQL and/or Python from relational databases, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
• Maintain and enhance existing queries/scripts, design new data transformations to meet requirements.
• Produce structured, audit-ready outputs with transparent logic and documentation for validation and audit testing.
• Build or support data visualisations and reports in PowerBI or ControlRight to aid stakeholder interpretation.
• Collaborate with TechLeads, SMEs, and control owners to clarify requirements and communicate findings in plain English.
• Document data logic, scripts, and deliverables in Confluence to ensure traceability and team coordination.
• Automate recurring data workflows using PowerShell or similar scripting languages where applicable.
• Support evidence preparation, control data requests, and IT-audit/compliance reporting activities.
