Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Manager in Data Strategy and Management to lead data transformation initiatives and collaborate with multiple business functions to deliver enhanced datasets and products for diverse clients.

You will partner with product, data operations, sales, and engineering to drive data modernisation, governance, and cross-content initiatives while aligning with strategic objectives. Competitive compensation and an annual bonus plan are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Significant experience working with financial markets and instruments.
• Subject matter expertise in Company, Entity or People Data.
• Experience in business transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in data transformation by producing business strategy requirements and working closely across data operations and engineering in delivering data modernisation initiatives.
• Work closely with product managers to deliver new data and other improvements through feed and desktop products.
• Provide the detail required for product supporting documentation, collect feedback for future opportunities to improve existing products.
• Undertake reviews of supporting documentation, identify and coordinate across teams to implement improvements.
• Participate in business planning exercise, consolidating requirements based on customer feedback, and working with specialists and engineering teams to provide resourcing and cost requirements across projects.
• Work with our Content Operations team to validate data accuracy and completeness of data that provide improvements to clients.
• Collaborate and coordinate with teams engaged in activities relating to data governance to meet compliance objectives for the data set.
• Partner with Strategy Managers across Company and Entity Data to deliver cross-content initiatives that deliver improved outcomes to LSEG customers.
• Consolidate feedback from customer support teams and externally available information that provides a current view on the position of products relative to other providers of similar data.
• Continually improve and maintain materials that present the breadth and depth of data available.
