Job summary

Lufthansa Systems Poland is seeking a Data Scientist for a project focused on Production Efficiency. This position involves developing AI-powered prototypes and scaling them into production solutions used daily.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, along with hands-on experience in AI/ML. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days a week in the office in Gdańsk, and offers competitive salary ranges based on position level.

Lufthansa Systems is looking for a Data Scientist to support a new project called Production Efficiency.

In this role, you will develop AI-powered prototypes and scale them into production solutions used in day‑to‑day operations by a wide range of stakeholders.

Who are you?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions for business use cases.
• Hands‑on experience with machine learning, generative AI and computer vision.
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g. Azure, GCP) and cloud solution architecture.
• Experience building data integration pipelines and deploying MLOps solutions.
• Strong Python skills, including data science libraries such as Pandas, Scikit‑learn, PyTorch and OpenCV.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders; very good command of English (B2/C1).
• Readiness to work in a hybrid model: 2 days in the office in Gdańsk.

• Build and maintain cloud‑based machine learning solutions and data pipelines.
