Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Data Scientist with strong commercial analytics experience to join our Data and Analytics team in Warsaw. You will build and optimize large-scale models that solve business problems and clearly communicate value to stakeholders.

You will craft robust, reusable code and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver actionable insights, production-ready solutions, and reusable learning modules in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Post graduate degree in STEM or Bachelor with significant data science/CS experience
• Strong foundations in math, analytics and CS; ML methods and statistical models
• 3+ years hands-on Python and SQL
• Experience in scripting (bash) and production-grade code
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP preferred)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, unit tests, and containerization
• Ability to translate business problems into scalable analytics solutions

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable data science codebase following best practices
• Understand internal data products to drive commercial insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable solutions
• Work with data scientists and engineers to deliver analytical solutions
• Document design, function and outputs for varied audiences
• Ensure timely deliverables and maintain solutions over time
• Communicate data insights and value to stakeholders
• Contribute to reusable modules and technical tutorials
