Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Business Technology Data and Analytics team in Warsaw. You will design, implement, and optimize large-scale models to deliver actionable commercial insights and clear value to business stakeholders.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred). You will collaborate with data engineers and other scientists to productionize solutions and communicate results

Qualifications

• Education in STEM or related field with strong math foundations.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning methods and statistical models.
• 3+ years of hands-on data science experience with Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test reusable codebase using data science best practices.
• Develop understanding of internal data products to drive commercial insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable solutions.
• Work with data scientists and data engineers to deliver analytical solutions.
• Communicate model design, outputs and value to varied audiences.
• Ensure timely deliverables and maintain solutions over time.
• Transform projects from proofs-of-concept to production.
