Raiffeisen Tech Poland seeks a Data Scientist to join an international bank in Vienna, shaping AML processes at the intersection of Data Science, Data Engineering, and Financial Crime Prevention. You will develop ML models, analyze large datasets, and collaborate across global teams to deploy and monitor solutions.

Excellent Python and SQL skills, experience with large data, and familiarity with Databricks are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or in a similar analytical role.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning model development and lifecycle management.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Understanding of Data Engineering concepts and data pipeline design.
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar Big Data platforms is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in data quality and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Machine Learning models supporting AML processes.
• Analyze large-scale datasets and identify opportunities to improve model performance and business outcomes.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of ML solutions in production.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues across multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on data pipelines, feature engineering, and data preparation processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical solutions and operational processes.
• Work closely with AML experts, business stakeholders, and technical teams in an international environment.
