Job summary

Andersen is hiring a Data Scientist in Poland for a project building a large-scale media intelligence platform and AI-powered audience analytics solutions. You will own end-to-end delivery of data science projects, working with Python and PySpark on Databricks, and applying DataOps/MLOps practices while collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Data Science experience with ownership of multi-sprint projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s preferred.
• Advanced Python with production-quality, tested code.
• Strong SQL and PySpark handling billion-row datasets.
• Hands-on Databricks, Delta Lake, and workflow orchestration.
• Working knowledge of AWS or GCP and ML lifecycle tooling.
• Proficient communication and documentation; English level: Intermediate+.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of data science projects from scoping to production.
• Select methodologies, models, metrics, and timelines.
• Build production-quality Python and PySpark solutions on Databricks.
• Apply DataOps/MLOps practices including experiment tracking and monitoring.
• Develop ML workflows such as embeddings, RAG, and LLM-augmented pipelines.
• Create reusable tools, document work, and mentor junior data scientists.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations on scalable solutions.
