Job summary

Accenture in Poland is seeking a Data Science Intern to join our team and help build data-driven solutions using statistics, machine learning and AI.

You will work across the data science lifecycle—from data prep and exploration to modelling, evaluation, deployment and monitoring in production. This paid internship offers flexible hours, remote/onsite options, and a potential path to full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Active student status with availability of at least 30 hours per week.
• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
• Very good understanding of statistics, probability theory, and fundamental machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Programming experience in Python and familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit‑learn.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Good command of English and Polish.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Data Science Intern to join our team and help us build data-driven solutions using statistics, machine learning and modern AI technologies.

You will work on real-world business problems, gaining hands‑on experience across the Data Science lifecycle — from data preparation and exploratory analysis, through modelling and evaluation, to deploying and monitoring models in production.

THE WORK:

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field

• Very good understanding of statistics, probability theory, and fundamental machine learning concepts

BONUS POINTS IF U HAVE:

• Experience with time series forecasting

• Knowledge of deep learning and neural networks

• Familiarity with Generative AI and LLM concepts

• Understanding of RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation)

• Experience with LangChain or LangGraph

• Familiarity with embeddings, vector databases or semantic search

• Basic knowledge of SQL

• Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps or model deployment
