ALTEN Polska is seeking a data scientist to join our ML team in Kraków. You will support feature engineering, model selection, training, validation and testing, and analyze datasets for project use.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data scientists and data engineers, a full-time contract, and opportunities to work across ALTEN Polska branches and engage in professional development.

Formación

• Experience in classical ML pipelines.
• Hands-on feature engineering and models like XGBoost.
• SQL advanced skills with Python APIs (pyspark, pandas).
• Apache Spark knowledge is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, diligent, and communicative.

In this role, you will:

Supporting ML team with feature engineering, model selection, training, validation and testing. Analysis of datasets regarding their use in the project. Close collaboration with other data scientists and data engineers.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in classical ML pipelines,
• Hands-on knowledge in feature engineering and models like XGBoost,
• SQL advanced skills in standard language as well as in python API, like pyspark and pandas.
• Apache Spark knowledge will be very appreciated.
• Person is detail-oriented, diligent, communicative.
