Job summary

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Sr. Data Reporting Technician (Trainer) in the Police Department's Data Reporting Unit. You will train, supervise and coordinate service program activities and operations, ensuring quality support for the department and the public.

You will coordinate with other divisions, outside agencies and the general public while providing staff guidance. Experience with data reporting, policy interpretation and documentation is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with specialized training in customer relations or a related field.
• Three (3) years of responsible customer service experience.
• One (1) year of administrative and/or lead supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Training, planning, reviewing and participating in the work of employees responsible for providing a wide variety of customer service in support of the Police Department.
• Produce, update and maintain divisional training and reference materials.
• Verify work of assigned employees for accuracy, proper work methods, techniques and compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Monitor and evaluate quality, responsiveness, efficiency and effectiveness of assigned customer service programs, service delivery methods and procedures.
• Gather relevant data and compile narrative and statistical reports.
• Maintain detailed and accurate files and records of police offense reports and correspondence.
• Interpret and explain City and FWPD customer service policies and procedures.
• Interpret and explain Texas penal code and offense reporting procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested.
