Job summary

Medius is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join our global team in Kraków. You will help build pipelines that power our products, including AI/ML, analytics and reporting, while shaping data governance and reliability across the platform.

Ideal candidates have strong Python (PySpark) and SQL skills, experience with ETL/ELT in lakehouse environments, and familiarity with Terraform and DevOps practices. This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing company leveraging cloud data platforms.

Qualifications

• Python (PySpark) and strong SQL proficiency.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT design in a lakehouse environment.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and DevOps practices.
• Solid data modeling and data governance discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build pipelines behind customer features spanning our products, plus AI/ML, analytics and reporting.
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing on Azure Databricks.
• Share ownership of the platform with Terraform, IaC, DevOps, reliability, security and performance.
• Shape patterns and standards for data governance and accuracy.
• Help shape the backlog and propose what to build next.
