Job summary

Instant Impact in Kraków is seeking a Data Insights Analyst to design and maintain high‑quality Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions. You will partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights and robust data models.

You will work with data engineers and the analytics team to blend data from diverse sources, optimise dashboards, and apply AI-enabled features to reveal hidden insights for executive decision making.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling, and dashboard development.
• Experience using AI-enabled BI capabilities, such as Power BI Copilot or automated insights.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience querying and analysing complex datasets.
• Familiarity with Python for analytics, automation, or data preparation activities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, review, and refine reporting requirements, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Gather, blend, cleanse, enrich, and analyse data from multiple systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Deliver executive-level insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and paginated reports.
• Apply best-practice BI design principles, including usability, accessibility, and performance optimisation.
• Continuously enhance reporting solutions based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.
• Develop and maintain analytics-focused data models, including dimensional models and star schemas.
• Document business rules, transformation logic, and source-to-target mappings to support reporting delivery.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across reporting environments.
• Partner with Data Engineering teams to ensure datasets are optimised for reporting and analytics.
• Leverage emerging AI-enabled BI capabilities, including Power BI Copilot and automated insights features.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to reporting and dashboard users.
• Manage multiple reporting and analytics initiatives while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting, analytics, and data quality capabilities.

Reporting to the Data Management Lead, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and the wider data team to deliver impactful reporting, analytics, and visualisation solutions. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining high‑quality Power BI dashboards, creating analytical data models, and helping stakeholders understand business performance through clear and actionable insights.
