Job summary

G2A is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to shape our data strategy and own end-to-end data platform initiatives. You will guide data teams, set architectural direction, and partner with business units to translate goals into deployable tasks.

The role offers remote or hybrid work options and a strong emphasis on building scalable, reliable data products while advancing your team’s skills and the company’s data maturity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Big Data tech stack (Flink, Spark, Kafka, Airflow).
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in Golang.
• Strong knowledge of Google stack: BigQuery, GA4, GTM Server-side.
• Proficiency in Microsoft stack: MS SQL, SSIS, Power BI.
• Familiar with Kubernetes, Tableau and Ceph.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing architecture patterns.
• Knowledge of High Availability and scalability in data processing.
• At least 4 years handling large data volumes (DWH ETL, streaming or batch).
• At least 2 years back-end development experience.
• Experience as Data Engineering Lead or similar role.
• Ability to lead teams and motivate others.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strategic and visionary approach.

You’re a perfect match for the role if:

• You have great knowledge and understanding of Big Data tech stack (Apache Flink, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow)
• You have experience with Azure Databricks
• You are proficient in Golang language
• You are proficient in Google's stack (Google Big Query, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager Server-side)
• You are proficient in Microsoft's stack (MS SQL, MS SSIS and PowerBI)
• You are proficient in tools like Kubernetes, Tableau and Ceph
• You have great knowledge and understanding of Data Warehousing architecture patterns
• You understand concepts of High Availability and Scalability on all levels of data processing
• You have at least 4 years of experience in processing significant data volumes (DWH ETL, Big Data streaming or batch processing)
• You have at least 2 years of experience in back-end application development
• You have professional experience in a Data Engineering Lead or similar role
• You’re able to work in a team and the ability to motivate others to achieve goals
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• You have a strategic and visionary approach
