Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Data Engineer with hands-on Snowflake experience and fluent German to join a project for a major Swiss transportation client. The role requires 3–5 years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and data modelling skills, and familiarity with dbt, Git/Bitbucket, and CI/CD tools. Proficiency in Python is also expected.

Warsaw-based hybrid work model with generous benefits. Desired candidates should have German language at B2 level, plus optional Azure Data Factory

Qualifications

• Several years' experience (3–5 years) as a Data Engineer with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
• Excellent SQL skills and data modelling (ELT, dimensional modelling).
• In-depth experience with dbt (development, testing and deployment).
• Proficiency in Git (branching strategies, pull requests; Bitbucket used).
• Basic understanding of containerization and deployment concepts in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
• Good command of German (minimum B2).
• Nice to have: Azure services as infra layer (Key Vault, Entra ID, Blob Storage, Data Factory).
• Experience with Helm Charts, Artifactory, Argo Workflows (advantage).
• Experience with finance/investment data products; business analysis and requirements engineering.

• Proficiency in using Git (branching strategies, pull requests; we use Bitbucket)
• Basic understanding of containerization and deployment concepts in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, e.g. Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI or similar; understanding of automated builds, tests and deployments
• Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation
• Good command of German (minimum B2)
• Nice to have: Experience with Azure services as an infrastructure layer (in particular Azure Key Vault, Entra ID, Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory)
• Experience with Helm Charts and Artifactory
• Experience with Argo Workflows or comparable orchestration tools would be an advantage
• Expertise in working with finance/investment data products
• Experience in business analysis and requirements engineering
