Job summary

The Codest, an international tech software company with tech hubs in Poland, is building a data platform powering a real-time DSP. We seek a Junior or Mid-level data engineer to own pipeline components, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate across teams.

You will work on streaming pipelines with Apache Beam/Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery; design dbt models across layers; own attribution pipelines; and build audience activation workflows in Airflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ or 3+ years building production data pipelines at scale.
• Strong SQL (BigQuery preferred) and Python.
• Hands-on dbt experience with incremental models, tests, and CDC/SCD patterns.
• Experience with distributed stream processing (Apache Beam/Dataflow) and Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with NoSQL stores (Couchbase/MongoDB) and Airflow or similar orchestrators.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Apache Beam/Dataflow streaming pipelines from Pub/Sub to BigQuery.
• Design and implement dbt models across staging, warehouse, and marts layers.
• Own the attribution pipeline with time-decay scoring and dimension hierarchies.
• Develop audience activation pipelines in Airflow + dbt and integrate with ID graphs.
• Contribute to infra and CI/CD, Terraform, and architecture documentation.
